Kierikki is located on the north bank of the Iijoki River at Pahkakoski Rapids approximately 60 kilometers from the Oulu city centre.

Arrival

There is a bicycle stand by the entrance of the Centre for Ancient Times.

The information desk is located in the lobby of the Centre for Ancient Times.

Coat racks, lockers with locks and toilets are also located in the lobby.

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome in the Centre for Ancient Times. Other dogs are only permitted in the Stone Age Village. However, the dogs must be kept on a leash.

Children

You can borrow carriages from the information desk. Carriages can be stored in the lobby.

A changing table is located in the accessible toilet.

You can warm baby food in the café. There also are high chairs in the café.

Café

Coffee, beverages and sweet and savory snacks are available for sale in the Centre for Ancient Times. Please bring your own snacks for the day’s adventure.

There is always a campfire in the Stone Age village.

In the summer 2026 the café is open on Adventure Days 6.6. and 11.7. and during the Ancient Revels 31.7.−2.8.

During those days the Kierikki Cafe is open
