Kierikki also uses AI-generated images in its communications and marketing
Since there are no photographs of the Stone Age, every photograph of the Stone Age is always staged. With the help of artificial intelligence, it is possible to quickly and cost-effectively produce images in which landscapes, clothing, objects, and situations are based precisely on up-to-date archaeological research. For example, it is not possible to faithfully recreate hunting situations without a large financial investment. All the images we use are reviewed by Kierikki’s archaeologists, and when creating them, the aim has been to create as realistic a depiction of the Stone Age as possible.
